Internet access is available in all guest rooms and all meeting rooms. There are several different types of services available for both guest rooms and meeting rooms:

Guest Rooms - you can conveniently access the Internet from your guest room by using your own laptop computer.

How to Connect - Two types of service are currently provided at the hotel; High Speed and Dial-Up. Instructions are provided in all guest rooms in the black Fairmont directory. Once connected, you can access Fairmont's Virtual Concierge, your e-mail, visit newsgroups, or surf the Web.

Billing Information:

Dial Up: There is a connection fee each time you log onto the internet which includes the first 10 minutes. Additional minutes will be billed and charged automatically to your room account.

High Speed: There is a $13.95 USD per day (24-hours) connection fee. This is a flat rate and is not prorated if less time is used. This charge is automatically posted to your room account.

Wireless: Wireless access is available in our Fairmont Gold lounge for our Fairmont Gold guests. To connect for no additional fee, guests need to first accept the terms, conditions and charges in their guest room using the high speed network and they will be able to use the wireless for the same period of time (24-hours from the time of accepting the charge).

Getting There:

The Bermuda International Airport is located in St. George, approximately 30-minutes from The Fairmont Hamilton Princess.

Taxi Fare:

Taxis are at the airport, hotels, city and town, and available by telephone from taxi companies. Approximate Taxi fare is $30.00 each way (30 minute drive)

Rental Cars and Buses

Bermuda must be about the only place left in the world where visitors cannot rent automobiles. Why not? Tourist safety on unfamiliar, often narrow, winding, sharply twisting roads, is cited as the main reason. Another factor is Bermuda's very small physical size and fourth-largest population per square mile in the world (after Gibraltar, Hong Kong and Monaco). Buses, ferries and taxis are available for guests to get around the island Moped Rentals

Scooters can be rented from Smatt's Cycle Livery, Ltd. adjacent to the hotel. Cash, credit card (Visa or Mastercard) accepted, or charge to a guestroom. Must be minimum 16 years of age. All rentals include lock, helmet, map and carry basket. Rental cars are not available in Bermuda - tourists may rent scooters only.

Ferry between Hamilton and Southampton

Exclusive for hotel guests of The Fairmont Southampton and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess. Ferry services for guests operates between the Waterlot Inn at The Fairmont Southampton and the Princess dock at The Fairmont Hamilton Princess. Golf clubs/bags are permitted on board, but no luggage is allowed. This beautiful scenic ride takes about 25-minutes one way.
